I myself am an herbalist and second generation homeopath, we don’t use any mainstream beauty products in our household, and I have made and tried just about everything out there! But this hair oil is INCREDIBLE. my hair is very curly (coiled ringlets) but is also FINE- and when I was young it was my best feature. however I contracted Lyme disease and for decades struggled with hair loss from that as well as stress. My number one issue is breakage though. At first, I was only consistent with my son, whose hair is also curly but much more coarse than mine (he’s probably turning red) his hair is so thick I HAVE to oil and brush it daily. Even his braids will start to lock up. I started using the oil on him really with no intention of solving a problem but just because it was the hair oil I bought for myself. However after a year of use, my son’s hair is about twice as thick- not kidding- and, has visible growth of at least ten inches.
When Tyree asked me how it was working and to show him pictures, I had to acknowledge how stellar these results are! It inspired me to be more consistent and spend the same time on myself. Even though my hair is fine and many oils leave me looking greasy, I learned to use less and don’t have this issue at all- I brush before showering, within two weeks my front ringlets were about two inches longer and better formed than they’d been in a decade or more- aside from the new growth and thickness, obviously the oil has prevented a significant amount of breakage.
